About the project

This photo and narrative series is a part of a broader PhD research project, exploring the family violence experiences of Vietnamese women on partner visas (Project ID: 31218). Since starting my PhD in 2021, I have been very fortunate to be guided and supported in my work by my incredible supervisors, Professor JaneMaree Maher and Professor Nathalie Nguyen.

This research project has been supported by various community support services. Thank you for your support and the work you do.

Thank you to all the women who are survivors of family violence who participated in this project - your openness, bravery, and determination is very humbling to witness. It is an honour to share your stories with our community.
